Gen. George B. McClellan

Parian marble is a fine-grained semitranslucent pure-white and entirely flawless marble quarried during the classical era on the Greek island of Paros in the Aegean Sea (Wikipedia).
Ball Hughes also burnt a pokerism of Civil War Major General George B. McClellan in 1862. Images are available at Ball Hughes Salon No. 9 in the E-Museum of Pyrographic Art Hall of Antique Art on Pyromuse.org.
